Greg and the team at the Academy do amazing work training up young musicians in the skills of instrumental, vocal and stage band performance. Just as importantly they are fostering the love and power of music in their young students lives. As part of our mission...we are proud to help them with theirs. Pierce's legacy of music is growing again! We are proud to announce the donation of 10 more instruments and another year of professional lessons for young students! Many thanks to you for all your support and generosity. A special shout out to River Music Experience and Harry at The Instrument Barn for helping us keep our Promise.

August 2019

We are happy to share the special delivery Pierce's Promise made today. We, along with Harry Choin from The Instrument Barn, delivered nearly 20 ready-to-play instruments to River Music Experience as part of their "Let's Band Together" program. Each instrument will soon be in the hands of a young student in need to help them discover the power of music. No one knew the power music holds more than Pierce, and we believe through these instruments a bit of his spirit is being shared with all who hear them play. None of this would be possible without your support and generosity...we cannot thank you enough. A special thanks to Harry for pouring his skill and love into these instruments making the donations a reality. To RME, much gratitude for allowing us to partner with you on this important mission. Many more "promises" to be kept, but thanks to you today was a very good day!

July 2019

Many, many thanks to the entire Pierce's Promise team who came together to make RAGBRAI 2019 a success! To those who pedaled the many miles across Iowa with us, those who did the support work that allowed our bikers to succeed, those who made donations, those who supported and cheered from afar...we are beyond grateful to each of you. In addition to raising funds to support the mission of Pierce's Promise, we were able to raise awareness among fellow bikers across the state regarding the existence and purpose of Pierce's Promise. Turning tragedy into action is making a difference!

March 2019

We are excited to announce Pierce's Promise is starting off by donating 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, 1 cornet, 1 snare drum and 1 xylophone to young music students in need. In addition, we are providing funding for 1 professional instrument lesson per week for an entire year for young musicians who otherwise couldn't participate.

July 2018

We an amazing week experiencing our first RAGBRAI. After dipping our tires in the Mississippi Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening brought a beautiful celebration of music, love and light as we officially got to introduce Pierce's Promise. Many thanks to the special people who helped make it possible, and those who surrounded us with love and support. A special note of gratitude to the beautiful Jessica Allossery whose incredible music and words created an unforgettable celebration of Pierce's life. We look forward to working tirelessly to fulfill the mission of Pierce's Promise; to give voice to the tragedy of sudden suicide and to make a positive difference in this world on Pierce's behalf.
